Yes, you are able to change the time or date of your collection at any time after placing your order as long as your balloons have not already been inflated, for orders which do not include any inflated balloons you can change the time or date of the collection at any time.
You can contact us via email here: https://particaparty.co.uk/pages/contact-us
Our delivery pricing is dynamic and changes based upon your order size.
Unlike most other stores which offer balloons delivered, we do not inflate our prices on the actual product which is why you will find that we are almost always far cheaper than competing stores!
Items which are smaller such as balloons which are not inflated, party essentials, decorations, costumes usually fit into a mail bag and thus do not cost to ship much, this will be reflected in your cart with a cheap rate.
Balloons inflated with air or helium on the other hand are always rather large and need protection during shipping to avoid damage, we can only fit so many balloons in a single box and our couriers charge by the box which means that the more balloons you order the more your delivery cost will increase.
When the order is dispatched we will attach a tracking number to your order, you will then receive an email and/or a text message notification (Based on whether you have provided us with your number during checkout) with instructions on how to track your order.
When your balloon arrives, chances are it will be a little cold outside or it was cold in the van/distribution centre of the courier; this means that you balloon may look a little out of shape, deflated or crumpled. This is due to how helium works, it floats because it's thinner and lighter than the air we breathe but when cold it condenses and thus becomes heavier. Not to worry though, just place the balloons in a warm area and they will come back to their correct shape.
In an extreme opposite situation where your balloons are outdoors and the sun is rather hot it may cause your balloons to fade due to sun damage or in the worst case scenario pop due to the helium expanding too much.
What can damage a balloon
Extreme heat or cold
Sharp or hot objects
Balloon float time
Float times can vary significantly from balloon to balloon based on the material, treatments that they have received and size.
Bubble Balloons - This will be in perfect condition for 3 - 5 days, after that they may look a little worse for wear but should still float for a while longer.
Standard Latex Balloons - This will float for 12 - 16 hours unless treated with Hi-Float, in that case it should last 3 - 5 days.
3 Foot Latex Balloons - This will float for around 24 hours.
We highly advise that you add Hi-Float to your latex balloons if you are choosing the delivery option to make sure that they last long enough for your party after delivery time.
We are not able to add Hi-Float to latex balloons which contains confetti as it will make the confetti a rather large wet mess.
When you are finished with your balloons just cut the bottom of the balloon with a pair of scissors and dispose of them in the bin. You should never release balloons into the sky as this can harm wildlife, creates litter and causes other issues.
